We are open!

More than seven months ago, Muvule Academy shifted to Distance Learning in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. During this time, you continued to entrust us to spearhead a new form of high-quality educational provision for your child. We thank you for your continued partnership during this time. Last week, we were given the official approval by the MoES and Entebbe Municipal Council to reopen our campus for face-to-face learning. Our face-to-face learning will begin Monday, November 2, 2020. This letter is to outline the new health and safety protocols that are in place to keep our community healthy and additional adjustments made as we prepare to open.

We will implement a soft opening for 34 days, November 2nd – December 17th, 2020. This period will provide us with the opportunity to implement the new safety protocols and allow our students, staff and families to learn these new routines. During this time, students will enjoy a rotation of outdoor and class-based indoor study with good ventilation.

· No lunch

· Children pack own personal snacks

· No school transportation

This has been an exciting and busy week for Muvule Academy as we prepare for the start of school. Throughout the week our teachers have been engaged in professional development sessions, planning meetings, and preparations. In addition, we have repurposed our outdoor space to give children more playing equipment options to develop their gross motor skills while promoting social distancing. We are sure the children will be excited about these enhancements.
